RESOLUTION NO. 8569
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A SIDE LETTER OF AGREEMENT TO THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE RIALTO CITY EMPLOYEES’ ASSOCIATION WHEREAS, Employer-Employee Relations for the City of Rialto (hereinafter, “City”) are governed by California Government Code section 3500 through 3511, known as the Meyers-Milias-Brown Act (the “MMBA”); and WHEREAS, the City has a memorandum of understanding with the Rialto City Employees’ Association (“RCEA”), which is in effect from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2027 (“MOU”); and WHEREAS, the City has met and conferred in good faith with RCEA in accordance with the provisions of the MMBA to amend the MOU; and WHEREAS, the City and the RCEA have agreed to the attached Side Letter of Agreement amending the MOU.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rialto, California, does resolve, declare, determine and order as follows:
SECTION 1. The recitals above are true and correct and are incorporated into the body of this Resolution by reference.
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby approves the Side Letter of Agreement with RCEA revising the MOU, attached hereto as Exhibit “A”, and which is incorporated herein by this reference.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. ////
