RESOLUTION NO. 8572
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING ITS 2026-2027 FISCAL BUDGET AND APPROPRIATING GENERAL FUND BALANCE FOR THE FIRE STATION 201 INTERIOR IMPROVEMENTS, CITY PROJECT NO. 25022 WHEREAS, the budget for fiscal year 2026-2027 of the City of Rialto has been adopted by this Council in its original form, and said budget will need to be amended at times to fulfill the goals of the City; and WHEREAS, the City departments may not exceed their appropriations by character of expense, with character of expense being defined as personnel services, services and supplies, capital outlay, debt service and transfers, without the consent of the City Manager; and WHEREAS, the City Manager may transfer appropriations between departments and within their respective funds, as long as those appropriations do not exceed their fund total unless approved by Council.
WHEREAS, On June 23, 2026, City Council adopted Resolution No. 8537, appropriating $1,160,417 from the General Fund and funds from the insurance proceeds for a construction contract with R Dependable Construction, Inc., a California corporation.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIALTO DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Authorize an appropriation of $212,664 from the General Fund balance to Account No. 33005174-53001-25022-16 for Construction Management, Inspection, Labor Compliance, and Materials Testing services for the Fire Station 201 Interior Improvements, City Project No. 25022.
Section 2: Authorize an appropriation of $16,184 to Account No. 67302148-53001-25022-55 for the expenses reimbursable by the insurance proceeds for Construction Management, Inspection, Labor Compliance, and Materials Testing services for the Fire Station 201 Interior Improvements, City Project No. 25022.
WHEREFORE, this Resolution is passed, approved and adopted this ___ day of ___________, 2026. _______________________________
