DISCUSSION:
In 2013, renowned artist, Judy Baca, from the Social & Public Art Resource Center (SPARC) was funded by a City of Richmond Neighborhood Public Art grant to create a community-oriented mural for the exterior wall of the Richmond Senior Center at 2525 Macdonald Avenue. The mural, or series of five interrelated murals, was designed, printed on synthetic outdoor material, and installed on the wall. Since then, it has faded and is due for replacement. This contract will cover the mural replacement and installation costs.
