STATEMENT OF THE
ISSUE:
Actions are required to update, and make current, the
appointment roster of the Richmond-Zhoushan
Friendship Commission. There are 11 seats on the
commission, of which four are currently vacant.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:

APPROVE appointment(s) to the Richmond-Zhoushan
Friendship Commission; APPOINT Alexander Golovets,
new appointment, seat #10, term expiration date
December 31, 2023 – Office of the Mayor (Mayor Tom
Butt 510-620-6503).

DISCUSSION:
The following individual(s) are being appointed to the commission:
Alexander Golovets is being appointed to seat #10 for his second term on the Richmond-Zhoushan Friendship Commission. Mr. Golovets is a Richmond resident and practicing attorney. His term will expire December 31, 2023.
