STATEMENT OF THE
ISSUE:
Actions are required to update, and make current, the
appointment roster of the Housing Advisory Commission.
There are seven seats on this commission, of which one
is vacant.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:

APPROVE an appointment to the Housing Advisory
Commission; APPOINT Preston Lam, re-appointment,
seat #7, term expiration date November 1, 2022 – Office of the Mayor (Mayor Tom Butt 510-620-6503).

DISCUSSION:
Preston Lam is being re-appointed to seat #4 for his third term on the Housing Advisory Commission. Mr. Lam is a resident of Richmond and is a Project Manager for the Chinatown Community Development Center. His term will expire on November 1, 2023.
