DEEPER ROOTS, DEEPER IMPACT
The current temporary farm is already a
magnet for hundreds of local residents who
join us to steward the land and heal while
building a more sustainable food system.

In 2020, in order to rise to the need the
pandemic exposed, we stretched the farm’s
temporary infrastructure to its limit.

To continue to deeply serve our community
the North Richmond Farm needs to grow
to meet our community’s unprecedented
need and prepare for the future.

Help us transform the Farm into a
permanent, community-owned asset
that will create opportunity, fuel resident-
led organizing, and feed the hearts
and minds, spirits, and bellies of local
residents for generations to come.

GROW JUSTICE

SEED POWER
Dreamed of, built, and led by the community, the North Richmond Farm is a demonstration of the power of food as a catalyst for transformation, resilience, and equity in urban communities.

Richmond, CA our home, is a frontline community of primarily Black, Brown, and Indigenous people with a long legacy of agriculture and social justice organizing. Yet decades of divestment and criminalization leave many residents struggling to find healthy food, living wage jobs, or pathways to prosperity.

Urban Tilth is ready to seed real transformation.
“Urban Tilth activated me to be a steward
of the land and its people. With much love
and commitment, they are changing the
way people think of North Richmond from
futile land to fertile land ready to meet the
community’s needs.”
-Tania Pulido,
Community Housing Development Corporation of North Richmond 62,677 lbs.
of fresh,
healthy food
distributed
in 2020.

HEALING AND JUSTICE ARE within reach.
