STATEMENT OF THE
ISSUE:
Actions are required to update, and make current, the
appointment roster of the Urban Forest Advisory
Committee. There are 11 seats on the committee of
which 3 are currently vacant.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
APPROVE appointment(s) to the Urban Forest Advisory
Committee: APPOINT Robert Stanley, new appointment,
seat #4, term expiration date November 17, 2024:
Stewart Winchester, new appointment, seat #8, term
expiration date November 17, 2024-Office of the Mayor

DISCUSSION:
Robert Stanley is being appointed to seat #4 for his first term on the Urban Forest Advisory Committee. Mr. Stanley is a Richmond resident who is employed with the State as a Biologist/Environmental Scientist. His term will expire on November 17, 2024.
Stewart Winchester is being re-appointed to seat #8 for his third term on the Urban Forest Advisory Committee. Mr. Winchester is a longtime Richmond resident who is a college professor at Merritt College. His term will expire on November 17, 2024.
