A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY RICHMOND TO
AUTHORIZE AND ACCEPT THE LAND DONATION FROM POGO PARK
TO THE CITY FOR THE HARBOUR-8 PARK EXPANSION PROJECT
WHEREAS, Harbour-8 Park is a City park located on the Richmond Greenway between Harbour Way and 8th Street, APN 538-420-001; and
WHEREAS, the State awarded the City the $8,500,000 through the Proposition 68 Grant to fund contracts for the Harbour-8 Park Expansion project; and
WHEREAS, the project includes the expansion of Harbour-8 Park to an adjacent property (Assessor Parcel Number 538-420-001) that POGO Park has agreed to donate to the City; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Richmond:
The Council does hereby authorize the City Manager or her designee to execute all required documents to facilitate the City’s acceptance of the land donation from POGO Park.
