NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at the hour of 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, the City Council will conduct a public hearing via Zoom to consider the following item:
Discuss the draft maps; discuss the election sequence; and select a map of voting district boundaries as part of the City’s requirement to redistrict the City after the release of the 2020 census data.
At the public hearing described in this notice, the City Council may receive staff presentations regarding the draft district maps, discuss the draft maps, potentially eliminate some of the draft maps from further consideration, and select a map of voting district boundaries.
All interested persons are invited to present their views and comments on this matter.
Written statements may be filed with the City Clerk via email at [email protected] at any time prior to the hearing scheduled herein or by mail: City Hall, 450 Civic Center Plaza, 3rd Floor, Richmond, 94804. Mailed statements must be received by 1 p.m. the day of the hearing. Oral statements may be made at said hearing via Zoom:
