STATEMENT OF THE
ISSUE:
Actions are required to update, and make current, the
appointment roster of the Economic Development
Commission. There are 15 seats on this commission, of
which 3 are vacant.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:

APPROVE appointment(s) to the Economic Development
Commission; APPOINT Diana Wear, re-appointment,
seat #9, term expiration date March 30, 2025; Orrian
Willis, re-appointment, seat #14, term expiration date
March 30, 2025 – Office of the Mayor (Mayor Tom Butt

DISCUSSION:
Diana Wear is being re-appointed to seat #9 for her third term on the Economic Development Commission. Ms. Wear is a retired Richmond resident, who was employed with UC Berkeley for 36 years. Her Term will expire March 30, 2025.
Orrian Willis is being re-appointed to seat #14 for his second term on the Economic Development Commission. Mr. Willis is a Workforce Development Specialist for the City of San Francisco. His term will expire March 30, 2025.
