STATEMENT OF THE
ISSUE:
Actions are required to update, and make current, the
appointment roster of the Shimada Friendship
Commission. There are 11 seats on this commission, of
which 2 are vacant.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:

APPROVE appointment(s) to update the Shimada
Friendship Commission; APPOINT Valerie Snider, re-
appointment, seat #9, term expiration date December 31, 2025 - Office of the Mayor (Mayor Tom Butt 510-620-
6503).
