STATEMENT OF THE
ISSUE:
Actions are required to update, and make current, the
appointment roster of the Human Rights and Human
Relations Commission. There are currently 9 total seats on the commission of which one is vacant.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
APPROVE appointment(s) to the Human Rights and
Human Relations Commission: APPOINT Ellen Seskin,
new appointment, seat #8, term expiration date March
30, 2025 - Office of the Mayor (Mayor Tom Butt 510-620- 6503).
DISCUSSION: Ellen Seskin is being appointed to seat #8 for her first term on the Human Rights/Human Relations Commission. Ms. Seskin is a longtime Richmond resident. Her term will expire on March 30, 2025.
