RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND,
CALIFORNIA ACCEPTING AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS RECEIVED TO
SUPPORT DEVELOPMENT OF HOMELESSNESS STRATEGIC PLAN
WHEREAS, on November 2, 2022, the City Council authorized entering into a collaboration agreement with All Home to partner on development of a Homelessness Strategic plan to prevent and reduce homelessness in Richmond; and
WHEREAS, the signed Collaboration Agreement anticipated All Home providing co- funding in the amount of $50,000 towards the Homelessness Plan; and
WHEREAS, All Home, via the Tides Center, has provided the City the $50,000 that now needs to be accepted and appropriated into the FY21/22 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the City Council finds the above recitals accurate and, coupled with the Agenda Report, these documents serve as the basis for the findings and approvals set forth in this Resolution.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT, the City Council hereby accepts and appropriates the $50,000 in funds received and expenditures related to development of the City’s Homelessness Strategic Plan into the Community Development fiscal year 2021/22 budget.
