STATEMENT OF THE
ISSUE:
Actions are required to update, and make current, the
appointment roster of the Recreation and Parks
Commission. There are 9 seats on this commission, of
which 1 is vacant.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
APPROVE appointment(s) to the Recreation and Parks
Commission: APPOINT Eleanor Thompson, re-
appointment, seat #5, term expiration date October 26,
2024 – Mayor’s Office (Mayor Tom Butt 510-620-6503).
DISCUSSION:
Eleanor Thompson is being re-appointed to seat #5 for her third term on the Recreation and Parks Commission. Mrs. Thompson is a resident of Richmond and is the CEO of a non-profit. Her term will expire on October 26, 2024.
