The estimate of construction quantities shown on the Proposal represent a preliminary estimate of the quantities
of work to be performed and materials to be furnished. They are approximate only and are given as a basis for the comparison of bids only. The City of Richmond does not expressly or by implication agree that the actual amount of work and materials will correspond therewith, and reserves the right to increase or decrease the amount of any class or portion of the work or to omit portions of the work that may be deemed appropriate or expedient by the City Engineer.
