ISSUE:
Sofia Victoria Lopez is applying for Seat #7 on the
Human Rights and Human Relations Commission, left
vacant on March 30, 2022, after the previous volunteer’s term expired.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: APPOINT Sofia Victoria Lopez, Human Rights and Human Relations Commission, Seat #7, Term Expires

DISCUSSION:
Sofia Victoria Lopez is the communications director for the Richmond Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Richmond Business Political Action Committee. Sofia is an advocate for human rights and this appointment allows them to make a difference in the city they consider home.
