A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND,
CALIFORNIA, TO ACCEPT A GRANT FROM THE CALIFORNIA STATE LIBRARY, ADJUST APPROPRIATIONS BY $131,748 AND TO ADJUST EXPENDITURES BY $131,748 IN THE 2022-2023 FISCAL YEAR LIBRARY BUDGET
WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the City of Richmond fiscal year 2022- 2023 operating budget, the Richmond Public Library – LEAP was awarded $131,748 from the California State Library; and
WHEREAS, this grant funding will enable the Richmond Public Library – LEAP to assist adults in attaining a secondary school diploma, obtain the knowledge and skills necessary for employment and economic self-sufficiency.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Richmond that the Fiscal Year 2022 – 2023 Library Budget is adjusted to add $131,748 to revenue and to add $131,748 to expenditures.
