REASONS FOR INTEREST IN APPOINTMENT:
I was a journalist since the mid 1970s for several of publications, mostly covering shipping and other industries. 1 worked as a laboratory technician in the Entomology Department of Rutgers University from 2003 to 2006 white earning a biology degree. I took quite a number of entomology courses and the lab t worked in tested mosquitoes for resistance to pesticides as well as conducting basic research. I collected mosquitoes and reared their eggs into mosquito larvae, which were then tested for larvacide resistance.
