A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND TO ACCEPT A $9,333 GRANT FROM THE BAY AREA LIBRARY AND INFORMATION SYSTEM AND ADJUST APPROPRIATIONS AND EXPENDITURES BY $9,333 IN THE 2022-2023 LIBRARY BUDGET.
WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the 2022-2023 City of Richmond operating budget, the Richmond Public Library was awarded a grant for $9,333 from the Bay Area Library and Information System; and
WHEREAS, the additional funding of $9,333 will be used for institutional membership in any professional library organization, to support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion related programs or services, and reimbursement for conference attendance by staff;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Richmond that the 2022-2023 Library Budget is adjusted to add $9,333 to revenue and to add $9,333 to expenditures.
