RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND
APPROVING A 2% INCREASE TO THE PORT OF RICHMOND TERMINAL TARIFF FMC NO. 3.
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond operates various terminal facilities at the Port of Richmond; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to amend the Port of Richmond Terminal Tariff FMC No. 3 by implementing a 2% tariff rate increase (General Rate Increase), effective July 1, 2022; and
WHEREAS, on September 23, 2022, the California Association of Port Authorities (CAPA), Committee on Tariffs and Practices, approved the Port of Richmond's Docket Proposal which is based on the West Region Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers; and
WHEREAS, the, tariff fees owed from July 1 to October 18th of 2022 will be charged retroactively.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Richmond hereby adopts an amendment to the Port of Richmond Tariff FMC No. 3 increasing the tariff rate by 2% effective July 1, 2022.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Richmond hereby authorizes the City's Port Executive Director to publish the rates and rules, as required.
