Hi Sam,
Thanks so much for following-up and sincere apologies for missing this last question. Yes, this can be retroactive to prior years of funding as well, thank you for reaching out to clarify.
Sending the best,
Hannah

Hey Hannah,
I hope this finds you well. I just wanted to check back in on this question, because I need to send the finance department your email answer to confirm or deny.
As you said previously EBCF has changed their guidelines about the time frame of expenditure of grants to not have a time limit at all. Which I truly appreciate. However the question arose if you all would be willing to make that retroactive to prior years of funding?
Due to COVID restrictions all grant funds were not expended in the allotted grant cycle and finance needs approval to roll them over.
A response in the affirmative to this email will suffice the finance department and allow access to those funds.
Thank you Hanah.

Hey Hannah,
Thank you again for this information. Can I assume that this new process is retroactive for previous grants that have not been fully expended as well?
Thanks again for all you do.

Hi Sam,
Hope you're doing well too. Thanks so much for your email last week and forgive the delayed response.
I've been working with our grants management team to shift some of the restrictions that were built into this grantmaking. Thankfully I can report that there is no need to fully expend the grant within a particular timeframe, so you're welcome to use the funds as needed.
Previously with final reporting requirements, it would've been necessary to expend the funds within the grant's timeframe. However moving forward, we've removed grant dates and eased final reporting as well. Instead of writing us a report specifically for this grant, you're welcome to send us any material/report you've already written related to this program.
Please feel free to reach out with any other questions and look forward to reconnecting again soon! Sending the best,
Hannah

Hey Hannah,
I hope all is well. I wanted to ask a question. As we get our grants from EBCF it has a grant time frame.
Yet it says Unconditional and Unrestricted. I was under the assumption that meant exactly what it says, but finance has the impression that the funds must be fully expended within that time frame. Could you give me a little clarity on this please.
Thank you so much.
