Grantee agrees and consents to the conditions of the application (Exhibit A) submitted to Plug In America and to the following conditions of the grant:
Grantee shall use this grant solely for the purposes as expressed in Exhibit A which incorporates a description of the project work and purposes for which grant funds may be used. It is understood that these grant funds will be used for such purposes substantially in accordance with the purposes set forth in Exhibit A. Grantee shall repay to Plug In America any portion of the amount granted which is not used for the purposes of this grant.
The grantee agrees that no funds provided pursuant to this Grant Agreement may be used to contact, or urge the public to contact, members of a legislative body for the purpose of proposing, supporting, or opposing legislation; or to advocate the adoption or rejection of legislation. See Treasury Regulation section 1.501(c)(3)-1(c)(3X(ii).
Grantee ensures that the grant funds under this award will be used in compliance with all applicable anti-terrorist financing and asset control laws, regulations, rules and executive orders. Grantee also agrees to take all reasonable precautions to ensure that any person or group expected to receive money from the grantee will neither make any payment nor provide any material support to any person on any United States government list of suspected terrorists.
Grant payment will be generated upon Plug In America's receipt of the signed grant agreement.
A final report, including receipts for all expenses funded by this grant, is due as described in Exhibit A.
Final report due no later than: October 15, 2022
Grantee shall not use any portion of the funds granted to carry on propaganda or otherwise to attempt to influence specific legislation, either by direct or grassroots lobbying, to influence the outcome of any specific voter registration drive, to make grants to individuals on a non-objective basis, nor for any non-charitable or non-educational purpose.
Grantee shall notify Plug In America of any organizational changes during the term of the grant. including, but not limited to, changes in key personnel and changes in event date or location.
Grantee may announce receipt of this grant. Please furnish Plug In America with any press release, printed materials, or other promotional materials with the announcement prior to announcing receipt of this grant. Please furnish Plug In America with the results of this announcement, such as engagements on social media or other relevant data.
Please refer to grant job number EA-NDEW2022 in all future correspondence, invoices, and reports which relate to this grant.
If holding an in person event, grantee must meet the insurance requirements of the venue where they choose to hold their National Drive Electric Week event. Please contact Plug In America for insurance assistance if you are an individual organizing this event.
The board and staff of Plug In America are pleased to be able to make this grant to support an online electric vehicle event during National Drive Electric Week. Please sign and return one copy of this grant agreement as evidence of your understanding and agreement with the terms and conditions defined herein.
