AGENDA
REPORT
February 21, 2023
DISCUSSION:
In 2021, the Human Resources Department brought forth the request to engage four agencies to assist with facilitation, conflict resolution, consultation, and training. Since then, the Human Resources Department has implemented contracts with Municipal Resources Group and Peer Advocates. They are actively working on or slated to start facilitation services with several City departments. In partnership with these agencies, the City has addressed internal issues, provided training and mentorship, resolved conflicts, and improved communications and interpersonal relationships among City staff.
The Human Resources Department would like to continue our partnership with these well-qualified agencies and to also engage The Consulting Team, to continue this vital work to bring about a positive and permanent City-wide cultural shift. Therefore, we request contract amendments to increase the time and payment limits for each contract.
The contracts will be as-needed and for a total amount not to exceed $200,000 per contract for three years terminating June 30, 2026.
