RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, CALIFORNIA AMENDING THE CITY’S POSITION CONTROL LIST
WHEREAS, pursuant to Article IV Section 1(b)(1) of the City Charter, the City Manager has the responsibility to manage all affairs of the City's operations, and appoint employees when necessary for the good service of the City; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to City Resolution No. 148-20, the City Manager has the authority to make appropriate administrative changes to the City’s position control list; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has determined that certain amendments to the position control list are necessary to meet the operational needs of the City.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Richmond City Council authorizes the City Manager to modify the position control in order to meet the operational needs of the City; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that, effective February 21, 2023, the City’s position control is hereby revised to delete the following positions:
Classification Unit
Supervising Office Assistant City Attorney’s Office IFPTE Local 21 – Mid Management
Associate Administrative
Analyst
Community Services –
Library LEAP
IFPTE Local 21 – Mid
Management
Management Analyst II Police Department IFPTE Local 21 – Mid Management
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that, effective February 21, 2023, the City’s position control is hereby revised to add the following positions:

Law Office Supervisor City Attorney’s Office IFPTE Local 21 – Mid Management
Senior Administrative Analyst Community Services –
Library LEAP
IFPTE Local 21 – Mid
Management
Senior Administrative Analyst Police Department IFPTE Local 21 – Mid Management
