STATEMENT OF THE
ISSUE:
The Richmond City Council meets every first, third, and fourth Tuesday of every month unless special exceptions are indicated within the Charter, Council Rules and
Procedures, or approved by the City Council.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
APPROVE the cancellation of the April 25, 2023, Regular City Council meeting - City Clerk’s Office (Pamela
Christian 510-620-6513).

DISCUSSION:
The Richmond City Council has regularly scheduled meetings every first, third, and fourth Tuesday of every month unless exceptions are indicated within the Charter, Council Rules and Procedures, or approved by the City Council.
With approval of this item, the regular meeting scheduled for Tuesday, April 25, 2023, will be cancelled due to many councilmembers attending a conference. Council Rules and Procedures state that “Any future regular or special meeting may be canceled by a vote of a majority of the members of the City Council during a regular or special meeting.”
