Auditorium Lighting Replacement

PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION ALTERNATES
A. ADD Alternate No. 1: Boxing Ring and Orchestra Pit Lighting
1. Work Included in Alternate:
a. REMOVE sixteen (16) existing ceiling-mounted boxing ring lighting fixtures above the Main Auditorium.
b. REMOVE eight (8) existing ceiling-mounted orchestra pit lighting fixtures above the Main Auditorium.
c. INSTALL sixteen (16) new ceiling-mounted boxing ring lighting fixtures (Fixture Type AH1) above the Main Auditorium.
1) Refer to Electrical Drawings (E Sheets) for plan layouts and details. 2) Refer to Specification Section 26 51 01 - Lighting
d. INSTALL eight (8) new ceiling-mounted orchestra pit lighting fixtures (Fixture Type AJ1) above the Main Auditorium.

e. REVISE as necessary proposed new lighting controls to accommodate new boxing ring and orchestra pit lighting. See Production Lighting Drawings (PL Sheets).
f. INSTALL new wiring and circuits to accommodate new boxing ring and orchestra pit lighting.
B. ADD Alternate No. 2: Corridor Lighting
1. Work Included in Alternate:
a. REMOVE existing ceiling-mounted lighting fixtures on Main Floor Corridors and Mezzanine Level Corridors. Maintain fixture housings where noted. b. INSTALL new ceiling-mounted lighting fixtures (Fixture Types AB2, AE1, and AG1) on Main Floor Corridors and Mezzanine Level Corridors. 1) Refer to Electrical Drawings (E Sheets) for plan layouts and details. 2) Refer to Specification Section 26 51 01 – Lighting.

c. INSTALL new distribution panels, lighting control panels, wiring and circuits to accommodate new corridor lighting in hallway leading to Stairway No. 7. 1) Remove existing interior wall plaster finish. See Specification Section 02 41 19 and Specification Section 02 82 10.
2) Upon installation of electrical wall panels, replace or repair affected wall area with new plaster and paint finishes. See Specification Section 09 22 00 and Specification Section 09 91 00.
d. REVISE as necessary proposed new lighting controls to accommodate new corridor lighting. See Production Lighting Drawings (PL Sheets).
