ISSUE:
Elena Velazquez is applying for a vacant seat on the
Richmond Youth Council
RECOMMENDED ACTION:

APPOINT Elena Velazquez to the Youth Council, term
expires, October 1, 2024 – Mayor’s Office (Eduardo
Martinez 510-620-6503).
DISCUSSION: Elena is active in several programs such as the Boys and Girls club, and Rosie Girls Summer Camp for Rosie the Riveter Trust. She has completed Urban Tilth’s Summer Apprentice Program and the NorCal First Alarm Fire Camp for girls.
