DISCUSSION:

The Richmond Housing Authority (RHA) is responsible to ensure that all public housing properties are properly maintained including landscaping. In the past, RHA would receive many complaints from residents and community members living adjacent to the RHA properties due to the lack of landscaping maintenance. When Hacienda was completed, RHA received the parcel back that Mercy used for staging and storage. RHA will need to maintain the empty lot.

Pacific Site Management, after a competitive Request for Proposals (RFP) procurement process, was chosen from five responsive proposals on May 21, 2019. Pacific Site Management services continue to be satisfactory.

RHA is seeking approval of a third contract amendment with Pacific Site Management to continue providing landscaping services at Richmond Housing Authority properties.

The proposed third amendment would extend the term of the Agreement to June 30, 2025, and increase the compensation by an amount not to exceed $117,900. Total contract compensation would be in an amount not to exceed $342,900. Pacific Site Management will no longer provide landscaping services at Nevin Plaza due to the transfer of ownership.
