June is observed nationally as Pride Month, a time to
celebrate the remarkable contributions and
advancements the LGBTQI+ community has made to our
city, state, and country.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
PROCLAMATION recognizing June as LGBTQI+ Pride
Month in the City of Richmond – Mayor Eduardo Martinez
(510-620-6503) and Councilmember Cesar Zepeda (510-
620-6593).

The City of Richmond prides itself on its vibrant diversity and commitment to protecting and fostering a welcoming environment for all its citizens, including members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, plus (LGBTQI+) community.
This proclamation recognizing recognizes June as LGBTQI+ Pride Month in the City of Richmond.
