REASONS FOR INTEREST IN APPOINTMENT:
During my first term on the Commission, I was pleased to get to know both communities, their history and activities, and to add to the cultural exchange and growth of the program. For our 60th Anniversary celebration (on Zoom) I brought together a sample of the art, performances and events that reflect the rich cultural diversity in Richmond. This documentary is now archived in Shimada. I hetped organize the recent visit of the Shimada delegates. Hook forward to developing more cultural exchange possibilities.
