Hello Chief French,
Thank you for your interest in the Team Building Workshop program. I am pleased to inform you that your request for a Team Building Workshop (TBW) for the management team of your department has been approved.
The conditions of this approval are as follows:
The workshop must be conducted prior to June 30, 2024. 2 POST and the agency are co-clients of the presenter. The presenter fee will be paid directly to the presenter by POST. Reimbursement (minimum of 5, maximum of 19) will be approved through the (eTRR) process, which includes travel (mileage), lodging (hotel) and per diem (meals).
Please note, lodging is reimbursed by the county where the workshop is held. You can see the current reimbursement rates here.
Any TRR’s submitted outside the eTRR system will not be accepted. POST-certified TBW presenters may not contract with TBW client agencies for private consulting services for a six-month period following a TBW presentation. TBW participants will not receive any Continuing Professional Training (CPT) credit for attendance.
Please contact the TBW presenter of your choice to make arrangements for your workshop. Profiles and contact information of all POST-certified presenters can be located on the POST Team Building Workshop web page.
Action plans are still required at the conclusion of your workshop. Action Plans should be submitted to POST within 30 days of the workshop. The POST Action Plan form can be located on the POST Team Building Workshop web site. I recommend you use the POST Action Plan form.
