STATEMENT OF THE
ISSUE:
Aaron He is applying for a vacant seat on the Planning
Commission.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
APPOINT Aaron He to the Richmond Planning
Commission, term expires, June 30, 2025 – Mayor’s
Office (Mayor Eduardo Martinez 510-620-6503).
DISCUSSION:
Aaron He is an Urban Planner/ Urban Designer who brings a strong desire to serve his community. With a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a Minor in City Planning from UC Berkeley, Aaron brings a unique perspective to the commission. He has a strong understanding of planning principles, design components, and state bills related to planning. He also has experience working with CEQA and entitlement processes.
