ISSUE:
Mindy Pines is applying for a vacant seat on the
Richmond-Shimada Friendship Commission
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
APPOINT Mindy Pines to an unexpired term in the
Richmond-Shimada Friendship Commission, Term
Expires January 18, 2024 – Mayor’s Office (Mayor
Eduardo Martinez 510-620-6503).
DISCUSSION:
Mindy Pines is passionate about exploring various cultures. She holds a degree in Cultural Anthropology from UCLA and has lived in Japan, where she became conversant in the language. Additionally, her experience in communications, graphic arts, and multimedia could be a valuable asset to this commission.
