metering system then sends out e-mail notifications to anyone who is registered through the website: Hydrogen Sulfide Monitoring (richmondwpcp-h2s.org).
The meters read Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) levels every five (5) minutes and records them to a database. When the level exceeds 60 parts per billion (ppb), an e-mailmail alert notification is sent out. When the level drops back down below 60 ppb, an e-mail notification is also sent informing the e-mail recipient that the levels have dropped below the threshold.
Veolia will provide a presentation during the meeting explaining the issues that lead to the emissions of the Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) odors and what plans they are implementing to reduce future occurrences.
