AMENDMENT TO THE
GRANT AGREEMENT AND CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE
The original Grant Agreement (“Agreement”) between the California State Library (“State Library”) and City of Richmond (“Grantee”) was effective September 1, 2022 and will be amended upon execution of this document by both parties.
This Amendment to the Award Agreement pertains to Grantee’s State-funded project, A New Bookmobile for Richmond Kids.
GRANT TERM
The grant terms began on 09/01/22 with an end date of 03/31/2024. Now the grant term is extended with a new end date of 03/31/2026.
PAYMENTS
Payment will be provided to cover the expenditures incurred by the Grantee for the project in the following manner:
Initial Payment of 45% of Approved Award Amount ($112,500): was given upon execution of the initial agreement and submission of claim and certification by Grantee.
Payment of 45% of Approved Award Amount ($112,500): was given upon submission and approval of the first reports and receipt of claim form by Grantee.
Payment of 10% of Approved Award Amount ($25,000): upon submission and approval of the 4th reports and receipt of claim form due on January 31, 2024 by Grantee.
If the amount of payment made by the California State Library shall exceed the actual expenses during the term of this agreement, as reflected in the financial reports to be filed by the Grantee, the Grantee shall refund to the California State Library the amount of such excess payment.

REPORTS AND CLAIMS
The Grantee shall make all required reports and claims to the California State Library.
Reports shall be submitted on the amended dates listed below.
I. The Grantee shall be responsible for the submission of interim and final narrative and financial reports on the progress and activities of the project, to the California State Library. The financial reports shall reflect the expenditures made by the Grantee under the Agreement. The financial reports may be incorporated into the same reporting structure as the narrative reports. The financial reports shall be submitted by the following dates:
a. First Grant Reports (mid-project narrative and financial) (covering start of grant-July 2022): 08/01/22
b. Second Grant Reports (mid-project narrative and financial) (covering August 2022 – December 2022): 01/31/23
c. Third Grant Reports (mid-project narrative and financial) (covering January 2023 – June 2023): 07/31/23
d. Fourth Grant Reports (mid-project narrative and financial) (covering July 2023 – December 2023): 01/31/24
e. Fifth Grant Reports (mid-project narrative and financial) (covering January 2024 – June 2024): 07/31/24
f. Sixth Grant Reports (mid-project narrative and financial) (covering July 2024 – December 2024): 01/31/25
g. Seventh Grant Reports (mid-project narrative and financial) (covering July 2024 – December 2024): 07/31/2025
h. Eighth Grant Reports (mid-project narrative and financial) (covering July 2024 – December 2024): 01/31/2026
i. Final Grant Reports (final narrative and financial, and expenditure detail report): 04/30/2026
OTHER PROVISIONS
All other Terms and Conditions shall remain the same as relate to the Stronger Together, Out of School Time grant program as agreed to in the original Grant Agreement and Certification of Compliance document.
