ISSUE:
Richard T Johnson is applying for a vacant seat on the
ECIA Transportation Oversight Committee
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
APPOINT Richard T. Johnson to a vacant seat on the
Environmental and Community Investment Agreement
(ECIA) Transportation Oversight Committee, Term
Expires July 25, 2027 – Mayor’s Office (Mayor Eduardo
Martinez 510-620-6503).
DISCUSSION:
Richard Johnson’s interest in joining the Richmond ECIA Transportation Oversight Committee stems from a desire to use his legal skills for community benefit, particularly in areas related to climate change and sustainability. As an attorney with a strong academic background from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, and the University of California, San Diego, his legal expertise will be valuable in the success of this committee.
