The Special Housing Authority meeting was called to order at 6:24 p.m. by Chair Eduardo Martinez.
G. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Chair Eduardo Martinez led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
H. ROLL CALL
Present: Commissioners Soheila Bana, Claudia Jimenez, Doria Robinson, Melvin Willis, Cesar Zepeda, and Chair Eduardo Martinez. Absent: Commissioner Jaycine Scott and Vice Chair Gayle McLaughlin were absent the entire meeting.
I. STATEMENT OF CONFLICT OF INTEREST
None.
J. REPORT FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Interim Executive Director Gabino Arredondo reported that the Richmond Housing Authority Holiday Closure would be from December 26th through December 29, 2024.
Maintenance staff would be on standby duty.
K. AGENDA REVIEW
None.
L. HOUSING AUTHORITY PUBLIC HEARINGS
L.1 United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Housing Authority Annual Plan
HOLD a public hearing; ADOPT a resolution approving the Richmond Housing Authority (RHA) Annual Plan; and AUTHORIZE submission of the proposed Annual Plan to the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) - Richmond Housing Authority (Gabino Arredondo 510-620-6606).
Interim Executive Director Gabino Arredondo presented a PowerPoint which highlighted main activities and community feedback. Discussion ensued. Chair Martinez opened the public hearing. There were no public speakers. Chair Martinez closed the public hearing.
A motion by Commissioner Bana, seconded by Commissioner Zepeda, adopted Resolution No. 2193, by the following vote: Ayes: Commissioners Bana, Jimenez, Robinson, Willis, Zepeda, and Chair Martinez. Noes: None. Absent:
Commissioner Scott and Vice Chair McLaughlin. Abstain: None.
