STATEMENT OF THE
ISSUE:
Sandra Benjamin Richmond is applying for a vacant seat
on the Richmond Arts and Culture Commission. Sandra
would be filling a term that was formerly vacated, thus she would be filling an unexpired term.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
APPOINT Sandra Benjamin Richmond to the Richmond
Arts and Culture Commission, Term Expires June 19,
2025 – Mayor’s Office (Mayor Eduardo Martinez 510-
620-6503).
DISCUSSION:
Sandra is a long-time resident of Richmond who is highly engaged in municipal government activities. Sandra will bring with her a knowledge of how commissions are run and has exciting new ideas. Sandra’s administrative experience will be an asset.
