STATEMENT OF THE
ISSUE:
The Richmond City Council meets every first, third, and fourth Tuesday of each month unless special exceptions
are indicated within the Charter, Council Rules and
Procedures, or approved by the City Council.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
APPROVE the cancellation of the April 23, 2024, Regular City Council meeting to hold a special in-person meeting on April 23, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. called by Mayor Martinez as a follow-up and conclusion to the special
meeting held in the Bermuda Room on November 14,
2023; Henry Gardner will facilitate a discussion with the City Council regarding “Working Relations and
Expectations” - City Clerk’s Office (Pamela Christian 510- 620-6513).
DISCUSSION:
The Richmond City Council regularly has scheduled meetings every first, third, and fourth Tuesday of every month unless exceptions are indicated within the Charter, Council Rules and Procedures, or approved by the City Council.

With approval of this item, the regular meeting scheduled for Tuesday, April 23, 2024, will be cancelled and a special in-person meeting will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Bermuda Room as a follow-up and conclusion to the special meeting held on November 14, 2024. Henry Gardner will facilitate a discussion with City Council regarding “Working Relations and Expectations.”
