A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND,
CALIFORNIA, TRANSFERRING FUNDS BETWEEN TWO PROJECTS IN THE CITY OF RICHMOND PORT DEPARTMENT’S APPROVED FISCAL YEAR 2023-24 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond’s Port Department seeks to complete Pavement Maintenance and other improvements at the Point Potrero Marine Terminal (PPMT); and
WHEREAS, these improvements exceed the budget as allocated under the Port’s project number 36012 as outlined in the 2023-2024 budget; and
WHEREAS, these improvements include capping of a water line and other traffic calming features necessary to maintain safe and orderly operations of PPMT; and
WHEREAS, the Port has a balance of $365,000 for installation of electrical and water meters at the PPMT listed as project number 36009; and
WHEREAS, the Port plans to complete the electrical and water meters in Fiscal Year 2024- 2025 after completing discussions with Pacific Gas and Electric.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that $136,750 of project number 36009 shall be transferred to project number 36012 providing a total budget of $286,750 to complete Pavement Maintenance and other improvements at PPMT.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that project number 36012 budget for water and electrical meeting shall be reduced to $228,250.
