RECOMMENDED ACTION:
APPROVE a first amendment to the contract with Koff &
Associates for $50,000, for a total not-to-exceed amount of $100,000, for recruitment services with a term ending June 30, 2025 – Human Resources Department (Nickie

DISCUSSION:
On October 5, 2021, the City executed a contract with Gallagher Benefits Services (formerly known as Koff and Associates) with a contract limit of $50,000. This first amendment increases the contract value by $50,000, making the total contract value not to exceed $100,000, and extends the contract term to June 30, 2025. By increasing the limit, the Human Resources Department can promptly assist departments and recruit for hard-to-fill and executive positions.
Gallagher Benefits Services (formerly known as Koff and Associates) will create brochures, source and evaluate candidates, and establish a pool of highly qualified candidates for employment. Utilizing Gallagher's expertise for recruiting hard-to-fill positions and executive roles will leverage their capabilities to conduct extensive candidate sourcing and screening while handling the interview and background check processes internally.
Of note, the City utilized Galagher Benefits Services (FKA Koff and Associates) to recruit for positions including Finance Director and Civil Engineers and was satisfied with the service delivery and the quality of the candidates.
