A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE PAINTING PROJECT OF 1322 AND 1325
CANAL BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, on February 22 nd, 2024, Council authorized a construction contract in the amount of $107,500 with Fresh Start Painting for the painting project of 1322 and 1325 Can al Boulevard ; and
WHEREAS, worked commenced on April 29th, 2024 and continued through completeion on June 6th, 2024 ; and
WHEREAS, the final construction costs was at budget at $107,500; and
WHEREAS, Fresh Start Painting has completed the work to the satisfaction of the Port Director and staff recommends the acceptance of the painting project of 1322 and 1325 Canal Boulevard allowing for filing of the Notice of Completion, followed by the release of retention to the Contractor in accordance with contract documents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Richmond hereby resolve, declare, determine and order as follows:
1. The recitals above are found to be true and correct and constitute the findings of the City Council made in support of this resolution.
2. City Council authorizes the acceptance of the painting project of 1322 and 1325 Canal Boulevard and release of retention in accordance with contract documents.
