RESOLUTION NO. ______
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS ALLOCATED TO THE
CITY FROM THE SISTAS ON THE LINKS GOLF CLUB
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond, Community Services-Recreation applied for a grant in March 2024 in the amount of $3,500 from the Sistas On The Links Golf Club to support Summer Youth Golf Program; and
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond Community Services-Recreation received a grant award in the amount of $3,500 from the Sistas On The Links Golf Club to support Summer Youth Golf Program to be held in July of 2024 at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Park; and
WHEREAS, the additional funding of $3,500 will be used towards the purchase of program supplies, stipends for golf instructors, and a golf field trip to Alameda Golf Course for the Summer Youth Golf Program participants.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Richmond adopts a resolution accepting the grant funds from Sistas On The Links Golf Club; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Richmond that the Community Services-Recreation Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Budget be adjusted to add $3,500 to revenue in account string 10651051-337373-25G13 and expenditures in account string 10651051-400280-25G13.
