RE: RENAMING OF A PORTION OF SPRING STREET TO PEDIE PEREZ STREET The Recreation and Parks Commission had scheduled a special meeting to hear this item today at 6pm. We got notice that one of our Recreation and Parks Commissioners is ill and will not be able to attend the meeting today. Since the Recreation and Parks Commission currently has five members out of the nine seats, we must have all five members present for the meetings. We regret not being able to confirm a quorum today for this item.
We understand that time is of the essence to move this item for approval by City Council. At this time, we will leave this for the better judgement of the City Council.
