STATEMENT OF THE
ISSUE:
Rachel Lockett is applying for the vacant seat on the
Planning Commission with an unexpired term.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
APPOINT Rachel Lockett to an unexpired term on the
Planning Commission with a term that expires on June
30, 2025 – Mayor’s Office (Mayor Eduardo Martinez 510-
620-6503).
DISCUSSION:
Rachel Lockett’s experience as a program/project manager, focused on efficient and sustainable design with a vision to build equitable structures for all, aligns with the goals of the City. She will bring her experience, passion, and dedication as valuable assets to the Planning Commission.
