The following changes are hereby made to the Contract Documents:
The Engineer hereby directs the Contractor to complete Extra Work based on unforeseen conditions encountered during the progress of the original leak repair. This Contractor shall complete the following:
1. The Contractor shall complete a 2 inch mill and placement of asphalt concrete of up to 14,000 square feet of area as directed in the field by the Port within the Point Potrero Marine Terminal. The Contractor shall re-stripe to the current conditions. The total lump sum value of this work is $68,180.00.
2. The Contractor shall locate and raise four sanitary sewer manholes in the locations shown in the attached exhibit.
This work shall be completed in accordance with the City of Richmond ’s standards. The total lump sum value of this work is $15,640.00.
3. The Contractor shall complete additional leak detection within the Point Potrero Marine Terminal to determine the location of a new leak discovered by the East Bay Municipal Utility District within the fire water system. The total value of this work shall not exceed $9,300.86 invoiced on a time and materials not to exceed basis.
4. The Contractor shall excavate and repair the fire water pipeline that was found to be leaking near the rail support building as shown in the attached . T he Contractor shall backfill and re store the surface to existing or better condition. The total lump sum value of this work is $19,700.00.
The total value for this work is $112,820.86.
Change to Contract Price:
Original Contract Price: $ 23,275
Current Contract Price, as adjusted by previous Change Orders: $ 23,275 The Contract Price due to this Change Order will be increased by: $ 112,820.86 The new Contract Price due to this Change Order will be: $ 136,095.86
Change to Contract Time:
The Contract time will be increased by forty-five (45) working days.
Approvals:
To be effective, this order must be approved by the Owner if it changes the scope or objective of the project, or as may otherwise be required under the terms of the Contract.
