STATEMENT OF THE
ISSUE:
Kiara Kempski is applying for an unexpired seat on the
Richmond Arts and Culture Commission.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
APPOINT Kiara Kempski to the Richmond Arts and
Culture Commission with a term that expires on January
31, 2027 – Mayor’s Office (Mayor Eduardo Martinez 510-
620-6503).
DISCUSSION:
Kiara Kempski brings knowledge and experience to the Arts and Culture Commission.
With experience in marketing, Kiara brings a unique skill set to the commission which will benefit the community. Kiara studied art history at the University of San Francisco and volunteered with the SF Arts Commission and Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. Finally, Kiara is passionate about the arts and sees the arts as a vehicle for economic growth.
