RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, CALIFORNIA AMENDING THE CITY’S BUDGET
WHEREAS, pursuant to Article IV Section 1(b)(1) of the City Charter, the City Manager has the responsibility to manage all affairs of the City's operations, and appoint employees when necessary for the good service of the City; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to City Resolution No. 148-20, the City Manager has the authority to make appropriate administrative changes to the City’s position control list; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has determined that certain amendments to the position control list are necessary to meet the operational needs of the City.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Richmond City Council authorizes the City Manager to amend the budget to allocate the necessary funds for salaries, wages, and benefits as required; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that, effective October 15, 2024, the City’s budget is hereby revised by appropriating the net impact of funding in an amount estimated at $1,423,488 to the respective departments for the following positions:
