A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE HOUSING
AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING A
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE HOUSING AUTHORITY ANNUAL PLAN AND
AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF THE PROPOSED ANNUAL PLAN TO THE US
DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD)
WHEREAS, housing authorities are required to submit an Annual Plan to the U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD); and
WHEREAS, discretionary priorities, activites, and policies utilized in the Public Housing program are contained in the Annual Plan; and
WHEREAS, on March 11, 2024 initial discussions of the Annual PHA Plan commenced at the Housing Advisory Commission (HAC) Meeting, comments were solicited; and WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 beginning July 1, 2024 Annual Plan was made available for public review and comment by posting on the Richmond Housing Atuhority (RHA) website on August 29, 2024; and
WHEREAS, the public has been given the opportunity to present additional comments or questions during the public hearing on October 22, 2024.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSIONERS OF THE
HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, COUNTY OF CONTRA COSTA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA THAT the Housing Authority Annual Plan is approved and the Executive Director is authorized to submit of the Annual Plan to HUD.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Executive Director is hereby authorized to take all actions necessary to implement this resolution.
