A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND TO
RENAME VIRGINIA PLAYLOT TO FLORIA EVANS PARK
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Richmond as follows:
Section 1. It is the intention of the City Council of the City of Richmond to change the name of Virginia Playlot to Floria Evans Park.
Section 2. That Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 6:30pm, or as soon thereafter, in the City Council Chambers of the City of Richmond, 440 Civic Center Plaza, Richmond, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed park name change.
Section 3. That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to (1) cause to be posted conspicuously along the section of South 18th Street at Virginia Avenue, a minimum of three (3) copies of this resolution; and (2) cause to be printed and published in the West County Times, a copy of this Resolution at least ten (10) days before said hearing.
